How it works

Four steps to your best cup.

STEP 01

Add your beans

Start by adding the coffee you're working with. Record the roaster, origin, variety, process, roast level, and any tasting notes from the bag. Your beans become your shelf — a permanent reference you can return to across every brew session.

STEP 02

Add your devices

Add your brewing gear — espresso machine, grinder, V60, AeroPress, Chemex, whatever you use. Linking recipes to specific devices keeps your notes meaningful: a grind setting that's perfect on your Niche Zero won't translate to someone else's setup, or even your travel grinder.

STEP 03

Pick a base recipe

OneMoreBrew includes starting-point recipes for the most common methods — Espresso, V60, AeroPress, Chemex, and more. Each one sets your ratio, dose, water temperature, and grind setting. Pick the one that matches your device and bean, or build your own from scratch and save it for reuse.

STEP 04

Heart the keeper

Tap the heart on your best tweak and it becomes the recipe that greets you whenever you open that bean — ready to follow again, tweak further, or compare against older brews and the base recipe any time.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need an account to use the app?
No. OneMoreBrew works fully offline. An account is only needed if you want to back up your data to the cloud or restore it on another device.
How do I back up my data?
Sign in with your email in Settings. Your beans, recipes, and tweaks will be backed up automatically to the cloud.
How do I restore my data on a new device?
Install the App on the new device, sign in with the same email, and your data will sync down from the cloud.
I lost access to the email address I signed up with. Can you help?
Email us at hello@onemorebrew.appfrom the new address and explain the situation. We'll do our best to help, but we may not be able to recover the account if we can't verify ownership — your email is the only identifier we use.
How do I delete my account and all my cloud data?
Email hello@onemorebrew.app from the address associated with your account and ask for deletion, or use the in-app deletion option in Settings (when available). We process deletion requests within 30 days.
Can I use OneMoreBrew on multiple devices?
Yes. Sign in with the same email on each device and your data will sync.
Where is my data stored?
Locally on your device by default. If you sign in for cloud backup, it's also stored securely on Google Firebase.
Do you sell my data?
No. We never sell your data, and we don't share it with advertisers. See our Privacy Policy for details.
I found a bug. How do I report it?
Email hello@onemorebrew.app with a description and screenshots if possible. Bug reports are very welcome.

Terms of Use

1. About these terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the OneMoreBrew mobile application ("the App") and any associated cloud services. The App is provided by The Mystery Guest Web Design ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. The service

OneMoreBrew is a mobile app for iOS and Android that lets you save coffee beans, brew recipes, and iterative tweaks to those recipes. Your data is stored locally on your device. If you choose to sign in, your data may also be backed up to our cloud storage so you can restore it on another device or after reinstalling the App.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

4. Your account

Cloud backup is optional. If you choose to use it, you sign in using only an email address — we use this as your sole identifier. You are responsible for keeping access to that email account secure. If you lose access to the email address you signed up with, we may not be able to recover your data.

5. Your content

Anything you create in the App — beans, recipes, tweaks, notes, photos, ratings — is yours. You retain all rights to your content. By using cloud backup, you grant us a limited licence to store and transmit that content solely to provide the backup and restore service. We do not access, share, sell, or use your content for any other purpose.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or interfere with the App
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other users' accounts
  • Upload content that infringes anyone else's rights
  • Use the cloud backup service to store content unrelated to the App's purpose

We may suspend or terminate access to cloud services if you breach these Terms.

7. Purchases and subscriptions

The App may offer optional paid features or subscriptions. These are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play in accordance with their terms. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their respective policies — not by us.

8. Availability and changes

We do our best to keep the App and cloud services running, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may update, change, or discontinue features at any time. We will give reasonable notice of material changes where practical.

9. Data backup and loss

While we take reasonable steps to protect your cloud-backed data, you are responsible for maintaining your own backups of any data you consider important. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss, corruption, or unavailability of data, whether stored locally on your device or in the cloud. The cloud backup service is provided as a convenience, not as a guaranteed archive.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, except those that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, secure, or meet your specific requirements.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the App or these Terms is limited to the amount you have paid us (if any) in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of profits, or loss of use.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

12. Termination

You can stop using the App at any time and uninstall it from your device. You can request deletion of your cloud-stored data at any time (see the Privacy Policy). We may terminate or suspend your access to cloud services if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the service.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest version. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales, except where consumer protection laws give you the right to bring proceedings in another jurisdiction.

Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

OneMoreBrew is operated by The Mystery Guest Web Design ("we", "us", "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

2. Our approach

We've designed OneMoreBrew to collect as little personal information as possible. The App works fully offline — you can use it without ever creating an account or providing any personal information. Cloud features are optional. We do collect anonymised analytics data from all users to help us understand how the App is being used and to improve it.

3. What we collect

If you use the App without signing in:

We collect anonymised usage data through Google Firebase Analytics — including approximate country, device type, OS version, app version, session length, and which screens you visit. This data cannot be used to identify you personally.

If you sign in to use cloud backup:

  • Email address — your sole account identifier. We use it to authenticate you and to contact you about your account if necessary.
  • Your app content — beans, devices, base recipes, bean recipes, tweaks, ratings, and notes. This is the data you create in the App, backed up so you can restore it.
  • Photos — photos you take or choose within the App (e.g. photos of your beans). Photos are stored locally on your device at all times. If you use cloud backup, your photos are also uploaded to Firebase Cloud Storage and stored there so they can be restored to your device.
  • Usage and analytics data — as above, plus session and engagement data tied to an anonymous Firebase user ID (not linked to your email address).
  • Basic technical data — limited diagnostic information needed to operate the cloud service (e.g. timestamps, error logs).

We do not collect:

  • Your name, phone number, address, or payment details (in-app purchases are handled by Apple and Google)
  • Precise location
  • Your contacts, microphone, or any data outside the App
4. How we use your information

We use your information only to:

  • Authenticate you and provide cloud backup and restore
  • Understand how the App is used and improve it (via anonymised analytics)
  • Respond to support requests
  • Comply with legal obligations
  • Detect and prevent abuse of the service

We do not sell your information, share it with advertisers, or use it for marketing.

5. How we store your information
  • Your app content and email address are stored securely using Google Firebase (Authentication and Cloud Storage). Firebase data may be stored on servers located outside Australia.
  • Photos are stored locally on your device. If cloud backup is enabled, photos are also stored in Firebase Cloud Storage and are encrypted in transit and at rest.
  • Analytics data is processed by Google Firebase Analytics and is subject to Google's data retention settings.
  • Data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
  • We retain your cloud data for as long as your account exists. If you delete your account, your cloud data is deleted (see "Your rights" below).
6. Sharing your information

We share your information only with:

  • Google Firebase — our cloud infrastructure and analytics provider. Firebase Analytics collects anonymised usage data (device type, country, screen views, session data) and processes it on Google's infrastructure. Google may use aggregated, anonymised analytics data in accordance with its own policies. See Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
  • Apple and Google — for in-app purchases and subscriptions, which they handle directly. We do not receive payment details.
  • Authorities — if required by law (court order, valid legal request).

We do not share your information with any other third parties.

7. Your rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Delete your account and all associated cloud data, including any photos stored in cloud backup

To delete your account and all cloud-stored data, email hello@onemorebrew.app from the email address associated with your account, or use the in-app deletion option in Settings (when available). We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

If you are in the EU, UK, or another region with specific data protection laws, you may have additional rights under those laws (such as GDPR), including the right to object to processing or lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

Australian users can lodge complaints with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.

8. Children

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information, including encryption in transit and at rest. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, and you use the cloud backup service at your own risk.

10. Data breach

If we become aware of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you by email and take steps required by law.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date reflects the latest version. Material changes will be communicated via the App or by email.
